Who’s Ready For Fall?

It’s been another great summer season! Despite the hail, high winds and everything else Mother Nature has thrown at us, we managed to gain new friends and we got to visit with old friends. Family came in support of the entire Black Hills region and we thank them for their kind thoughts and prayers.

We are at the beginning of Fall, harvest season is in full swing and it’s time to clean up those gardens and let them rest for the winter. Our wild crafters are almost done for the season as well and they are excited for next year, again, thank you for your assistance this year and every year. Pumpkin spice everything is all around us and the nights are getting colder, you can tell it’s time for the season to change.

Here are some things we would like to share.

From the Fine Art Gallery:

“Howard Terpning has become one of the most lauded painters of Western art today and is considered by many a national treasure. He has become known as the ‘Storyteller of the Native American’ because of his devotion and respect for Plains Indian people.”

Here at Prairie Edge we represent Terpning’s amazing work in the format of limited edition giclée prints on canvas. We are proud to be a part of his telling of these stories through his art.

"American Indian history fascinates me. I feel privileged to be one of their storytellers. I think it’s important to tell the story of the Plains Indians because their history is our history . . . part of our heritage. The history of the West is the only history America has that is uniquely our own."

~Howard Terpning

We have more offerings and will talk about it soon. Take care family and friends!
