Wrist Bag w. Quilled Buffalo

The entire front panel of the bag is adorned with a quilled design of a buffalo head in red and violet with yellow accents on an alternating background of red quills and plain leather. Quilled rawhide slats decorated the lower edge of the bag body; tin cones and leather fringe hang from the bottom of the slat design. The design on the bag body and slats are done using the straight quilling technique.

The outer edges of the central quilled design are outlined with a wide band of beadwork in shades of blue with white and red accents. Quilled leather dangles of tin cones and horse hair hang at either side of the bag.

The thin hanging strap at the top of the bag is wrapped in quills. The bag is made of smoke braintanned leather and sewn together using imitation sinew. It is unlined and the back is unadorned.
