Whale Rider

Whale Rider is a moving and inspirational movie set in everyday New Zealand and based on Maori legend.

Originally adapted from WIti Ihimaera's awarded winning novel and directed by Niki Caro it's the story about a young girl named Pai who is descendant from a long line of chiefs and must overcome all odds to prove her destiny.
