Description
The stone head is encased in leather that is stained red and tethered to the shaft using twisted leather. This gives it the ability to swing from the end of the handle - historically, this gave the weapon a more forceful blow and allowed the warrior to swing the club over his head while on horseback without needing to reposition for an attack.
The shaft is covered with a beautiful beaded design with a blue and yellow geometric pattern with red bands contrasted against a black background. Above and below the beaded wrap, the shaft is finished with bands of buffalo fur and red leather fringe.
