Tribe: Chippewa Bad River Band, Lake Superior

Raised by his grandparents, this Native American artist began his career at a young age.

Inspired by history, western art, and 19th Century pictographs, he is renowned for his painted hides, beaded pouches, breastplates and clothing.

Mike's heritage includes Flathead, Lakota, Chippewa and Salish ancestry, he is an enrolled member of the Chippewa.
