Nakoa Heavy Runner is a Assiniboine/Blackfeet and an enrolled member of the Blackfeet Nation of Browning Montana. He grew up on the Ft. Belknap Indian reserve in north central Montana and currently resides on the Rocky Boy Indian reserve.
Description
Nakoa has been singing his entire life and started composing his own music at the age of 14. He released his first solo album in late fall of 2003 called "Round Dance Time".
This album is Nakoa's third round dance album and second solo. Nakoa dedicates this album to his late grandparents Nellie & Donald Clark.
