Quick Overview
Positioned upon a galloping horse, a Native American warrior could fire this weapon at close range from hip level.
Description
The arrowhead featured on this Native American inspired artifact reproduction was filed from barrel hoops. Turkey Feathers are used as the fletching. The arrowhead and the feathers are attached with sinew. The shaft is ironwood and short in length; made to be used with a small, powerful bow.

Plains Indian arrowheads were historically made using bone, but metal became the material of choice as trading increased in North America.

Red earth paint and blue-green dye markings on the crest of this American Indian inspired artifact reproduction identify the owner.

The arrow has become a powerful Native American symbol of resistance to encroachment upon tribal lands.
