Quick Overview
Beaded in rich yellows, oranges, reds, and blues on a green background, this native weapon features the distinctive Hills design to represent the Black Hills - believed to be a sacred place by many Lakota.
Description
The wooden shaft is wrapped in buffalo leather. The drop is made of latigo leather and adorned in lane/lazy stitch beadwork. Dangles of imitation eagle feathers, horse hair, and red tradecloth hang from the tips of the shaft and bottom edge of the drop.

The shaft is made of Douglas Fir and the lance blade is made of cold forged cast iron.
