This hand carved gunstock war club is hand crafted by Lakota Sioux artist Evans Flammond, Sr. of the Rosebud Sioux Tribe.
Description
A one-blade war club is mounted onto a leather covered backboard. The stylized image of a warrior on horseback wielding a gunstock war club in the midst of battle is painted in the artist's characteristic style.

Evans finishes his design with brass tacks, painted horse tracks and a painted medicine wheel with two feathers attached.

This display will make a fine addition to any Native American art collection.
