The abstract giclée print, “Ghost Dancers,” depicts the mysterious Native American Ghost Dance ritual, also known as the Circle Dance. Traditionally a Native American religious movement, in 1890 the first Ghost Dance was performed. Dubois has captured the mysticism of the dance by placing the figures within dramatic color washes of salmon, maroon, and blue-green.
