Quick Overview
The knife honors the tremendous task of carving all that was useful from the fallen buffalo.
Description
Every part was used: meat for food, organs for medicine, hide for clothing and shelter, sinew for sewing and beadwork, and teeth, special bones and the skull for spiritual use.

This knife features a hand-forged iron blade set with cast lead in the lower jaw of the buffalo. Highly prized eye teeth remain.

The handle is covered with blue trade cloth, buffalo hide with hair and Italian glass seed beads.

The sheath is made of rawhide, blue trade cloth, brass tacks and a lazy stitch Italian glass bead pattern of the buffalo vertebrae or buffalo tracks.

It is finished with a fringe of fine cut, brain-tanned hide and tin cones.
