Quick Overview
This lance is made by Native American artist Dawn Yellow Bank of the Omaha tribe.
Description
She carefully wraps the wooden handle with leather; the throwing grip is wrapped with blue trade cloth.

Dawn then utilizes the lane/lazy stitch technique in the beadwork art using royal blue, orange and red colored beads for the traditional Lakota Sioux geometric designs along the diameter of the lance.

Next, the metal tip, which is made of steel and is also aged to look as authentically old as possible. Dawn then completes the design with imitation golden eagle feathers hanging from the handle of the lance.

This beadwork piece will make a nice addition to any Northern Plains Indian weapons collection.
