This Black Warbonnet Dance Rib is a reproduction of those once carried in some ceremonial tribal dances.
Description
The dance rib is made from an actual buffalo rib. The rib features hand painted black stripes symbolizing the devotion of the dancer and is also decorated with brass tacks.

Leather strings connect the rib ends and are strung with imitation eagle feathers and bells.
