Description
The entire front panel of the bag is decorated with the quilled design of a butterfly in hues of yellow and blue with white and gray detailing juxtaposed against a rich, red background. The design is done using the straight quilling technique.
The sides and top of the quilled design are outlined with a wide band of beadwork in shades of blue, green, and gold. The bottom edge is adorned with brass bells and long, leather fringe.
The thin hanging strap at the top of the bag is wrapped in quills. The bag is lined with a navy blue cotton material.
Either side of the back panel shows a continuation of the beadwork from the front; the top is edged with the navy material used for the lining.
The bag is made of smoke braintanned leather and sewn together using imitation sinew.
